The workshop was both an interesting and enjoyable experience. I learned not just about the technical aspects of photography but also the attitude, philosophy, thought and patience required to take not just a good photo, but a great one.

Seeing you take photos in the field with my own camera, and then seeing how you edit them in Lightroom was a valuable experience. I’ve learnt that you can take a good photograph in what might first appear to be difficult circumstances, and I’ve learnt that in certain scenarios rules can be broken to create drama in an image. I’ve changed my way of thinking and I am now better equipped to take better photographs.

I attended a 1 day workshop with Dimitri in Northumberland. The website was very specific about what the course would cover, the reality did not disappoint. Despite having used DSLR’s for several years, I wanted to go back to basics and learn some of the fundamentals of focusing and exposure for landscape photography.

Dimitri gave us a huge amount of theoretical information in a way that was very easy to understand. The afternoon gave us a chance to practice these techniques and also to spend time with Dimitri on a on to one basis. I would highly recommend the course to anyone.
