Earth’s Beauty Glencoe workshop was by far the most informative and most rewarding workshop I have been on.

Dimitri is a true professional in all aspects of photography. He was extremely helpful in preparing you to take the perfect photo from start to finish.

His patience and one-on-one instructions were truly helpful. Thanks Dimitri, looking forward to my next adventure with you.

On this, my second visit to Santorini with Earth’s Beauty, I was impressed again by Dimitri’s helpfulness and cheerfulness at all times.

The tour was well organised with an enjoyable schedule that ensured photography at the best times of day but also allowed for flexibility when it suited.  The inclusive Greek lunches were an additional and very welcome highlight each day.

Dimitri was always on hand to provide photographic help and advice.  The advantages and techniques of using “Live View “ were demonstrated thoroughly and this was really useful.  The downside to “Live View” is that the battery runs out rather quickly and a spare one is essential.

Dimitri is an inspirational photographer who has the enviable ability to see and to make images from quite mundane subjects that others would, and do, pass by.

Thank you, Dimitri, for encouraging my photography and inspiring me to look for graphic shapes and patterns through the viewfinder as you do.

The hotel was fine and the food was wonderful and I really enjoyed the holiday.
However as a beginner in photography I would have welcomed the chance to have more instruction because I probably kept on making the same mistakes in ignorance. An evening (or 2) looking at 1 or 2 images taken by others (some good and some with mistakes maybe) would have been of great benefit to a “new” photographer like myself. because I didn’t see what the experienced members of the group had taken and it would have
been an ideal learning opportunity for me.

I do appreciate that you had a great deal to do all week and I hope you are getting some rest now. Thank you again for everything. Off to get a lotttery ticket to pay for an Africa visit maybe?

As usual Dimitri was at his brilliant best for the trip to Santorini.   I’ve been on previous workshops and couldn’t wait to join his merry band to this island in the Cyclades.  His patience and humour are second to none and are a great asset when dealing with technical problems.

I personally appreciated his time and assistance when faced with a couple of difficulties in Live View.  His photographic skills are wonderful and he can capture almost anything and make it look good.  When the master is at work you can always expect perfection.  His enthusiasm and patience are transferred to each student and all he expects in return is that you listen and put into practice what you have learned.

Thanks again Dimitri for all your help and making my husband Willie so welcome on the trip as well.  Can’t wait for the next one.

I have just been on my first weekend course with Earth’s Beauty tours, run by Dimitri Vasiliou.

A passionate photographer who is keen & willing to pass on his deep knowledge of photography…and I hasten to ad it will not be my last.

As well as all the “technical stuff”, Dimitri quickly identified one area of my photography I could improve on in two words…Slow down! Pay attention to what is around me and then taking time to compose, compose, compose…then wait, wait wait for the light!

I learnt a lot in a short time with Dimitri’s friendly, easy going style and look forward to booking another workshop.

Brilliant.
